#Use a guitar pick to remove the two white plastic bezels located on the top and bottom of the iPod. One bezel contains the headphone jack and the other contains the on and off switch. Slide the guitar pick down the side of the bezel and pry it out. The bezels are attached by glue, so they should come out fairly easily.# 2Use a mini Philips screwdriver to remove two screws from the bottom of the iPod where the headphone jack is located. One screw is located on a white piece next to the head phone jack and the other is located on a silver piece on the opposite end.# 3Remove the headphone jack by sticking a mini screwdriver down the side of the white plastic piece and prying it out. It will still be attached by a cord but will be removed from the rest of the iPod.# 4Put the mini Philips screwdriver into the hole where the headphone jack was located. Feel for a screw about half an inch down. Remove this screw.# 5Use the mini screwdriver to remove a long silver piece located next to the original location of the headphone jack. Put the tip of the screwdriver underneath the silver piece and lift it up.# 6Look at the other end of the iPod where the on/off switch was located. You will see one screw on each end where the sides of the iPod curve. Remove both screws with the mini Philips screwdriver.# 7Look at the bottom of the iPod where the headphone jack is located.
