By default CrossFire is disabled. To enable CrossFire mode you enter Catalyst Control Centre and select the CrossFire section (in the advanced section). Put a tick in the box and after a few seconds you receive the message that crossfire is enabled. No reboots required.
I'm using the latest Omega drivers and ATI Tray tool and don't see anything about enabling crossfire mode. Am I doing something wrong or missing something? In bios i have it set to dual cards but when i used the original ati drivers i had to set it in the ccc.
i found the same question in the net and this is the transcript of their conversation:'check the box in catalyst, it should blink then give you some message''go into overdrive, click the drop down arrow, if it allows you to overclock two cards separately, then cf is enabled in catalyst''now that we've determined cf being enabled, take it for a test drive'here's the link to this conversation: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1252264I hope it helps.
