The U.S. president Barack Obama will answer questions from users registered on the social networking site Facebook this month from the company headquarters in California (West), said Tuesday the White House.
On its own Facebook page, the White House announced that Mr. Obama would participate in this event with the co-founder Mark Zuckerberg Site and its principal operating Sheryl Sandberg from 1:45 p.m. local (20:45 GMT) on April 20.
The same source, Facebook will select questions on the economy and innovation for submission to the President during the session live in Palo Alto, south of San Francisco.
Obama, who was quoted in late January Facebook as one of the great American success during his annual State of the Union, met with Mr. Zuckerberg, 26, and other entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley in February during a visit to California.
The president announced Monday his candidacy for a second term in 2012, notably through his Facebook page where he can boast of some 19 million fans.
