When Apple is behind Samsung, Nokia the phone giant has launched Ovi 3D Maps beta. Its free mapping service similar to Google Earth and Maps Bing comes to acquire realistic 3D views. These impressive images of buildings and trees cover twenty cities in the United States and Europe. We can walk around and zoom in the cities of San Francisco, New York, Toronto, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Atlantic. On the Old Continent, these are the cities of Stockholm, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Helsinki, Milan, Prague, London, Madrid, Oslo, Vienna, Florence and Venice, which can be admired in 3D.
Ovi Maps 3D is available by installing a plug-in on the browser (Explorer 7 and sup. Firefox 3.5, and sup., Safari 5 and sup. And Google Chrome).
Ovi Maps for mobile now covers 180 countries, 100 of which are available in 53 different languages. On the web, Ovi Maps also covers 180 countries, 93 of which are available in 29 different languages.
